I love that joke. I remember writing on the way to a gig and rushing to get there so I could write it down before I forgot it. The graveyard and all that was Pat.
These little vids that you and Pat make are the Cat's meow. Funny, funny jokes, John. Your dead-pan delivery is perfect for the death theme. Good show to both of you.
Thank You and I'm sure Pat thanks you. He does a great job. All the tapes we take the voice tracks from are all from the period of 1995-1996. I wish I had taped a lot more.
Pat is a great kid, who works super hard and yes, he does a great job. He has a sick cat right now, he's very concerned about, so we should all wish his cat a fast recovery.
Love how it is surreal, that was a great idea to do it that way, just adds more than a sound stage or something. Makes the jokes come to life, which I like.
Excellent job to you and Pat. These are loads of fun, and give me a new perspective. I thought I'd cornered the market on family morbidity. I'm thrilled that I haven't.
My favorite was the detective burying himself as a decoy for grave robbers. Great deadpan (no pun intended) delivery. I haven't done stand-up for (oh my God) 29 years. It was a hoot. You're fantastic.
Very nice John and good job on the vid by the Cat. My favorite was the helicopter joke. ...and they had her made into a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteThat is actually one of my favorite jokes. Sometimes I expand it and talk about losing her head. Oh Thank You.
Deletehaha that was brilliant, I liked the detective story and great video!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Pat had nothing to do with putting it together. I did it all through him psychically without him knowing it. It just part of my standup act.
Deleteha. funny...and cool setting in the graveyard to enhance...you had the puzzle joke up earlier this week right? still funny

DeleteAwesome video of the jokes you posted recently. I like how you switch scenery.
ReplyDeleteThat is all Pat's idea. He deserves the credit for that. I just said, "Yes, like it."

ReplyDeleteI think Pat stumbled on to something there. I'm sure they'll be other variances I just means i'm going to have to start doing more and more sets.
DeleteNice video of some of your recent jokes
ReplyDeleteActually, the jokes I've had. I have to start performing to get the most recent stuff up so he can tape them.
DeleteAlways fun to do, seems like a hit came due too!
ReplyDeletePat, I thank you and your cat? I hope the cat is doing well. You did a great job.
DeleteI love these videos. If there's one thing to put on my bucket list, it's "do a routine at the local graveyard." I bet that routine would kill.
ReplyDelete(ba dum BUM)
ba dum Bum. I like that drum roll touch. The grave yard was totally Pat's idea as were all the visual.
DeleteNicely done John.
ReplyDeleteThank you from me and Pat. It's his animation.

ReplyDeleteCheers,

I love morbid jokes. I have to write more. Pat does a great job, he really does. I all to do, just to keep up with him. Thanks/
