After last St Patricks day I learned to hold my liquor, now I throw up in my hands.
You know you've lived a decent life when your friends are like family and family are still your friends.
I saw a video of the CPAC convention it was like watching a political film written and directed by Fellini.
I'm a St. Patricks day veteran!
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling you were. In New York City t's no longer a fun day. There are too many drunk kids throwing up everywhere.
DeleteI am saving the st.patricks one for next year!
ReplyDeleteI really like the second one :)
Thanks. The second one is not funny but they can't all be. I figure as long as they make a point it's okay.
DeleteI hope you washed them before you shook any hands
ReplyDeleteOn St. Patty's day in New York most likely the other person did the same thing.
Deletethat second one is pretty cool, it should be on cards by hallmark...
ReplyDeletea cpac movie...propaganda surely....smiles.
Oh, thanks. It's nice every once in awhile to not have to worry about being funny.
DeleteI still have to learn to be friends with my family.
ReplyDeleteWith some family members it's impossible to be friends with, thus I'm a satisfied divorcee.
DeleteYeah. Your family can be the most stable part of your life--IF they can set aside petty grievances and don't cause any bad ones. lol
ReplyDeleteI've had a few grievances. Never with my mother's side of the family. They were truly salt of the earth. My mother was on of 14. They were an amazing family.
DeleteSome family are just a pain in the arse. And on saint me day, keep your nasty hands away.
ReplyDeleteI wash them often on St. Patty's day.
DeleteI think you hit the nail square on with #2. If everyone else leaves you, your family will always stand by your side.
ReplyDeleteIn my case it's true, from a certain side of the family, but I know people who have family that should have never been allowed to have kids.
DeleteA CPAC convention is like a mixture of Southern Civil War politics meets modern day libertarian and/or conspiracy theorists. Not a good combo.
ReplyDeleteWell said. I agree completely.
DeleteLove Number 2... Friends may come and go but when family member chooses to stay... you know you did something right
ReplyDeleteFamily is the whole ball of wax. It effects everything you do in your life. I wish I realized the importance when I was a kid.
DeleteGood one on # 2 ~ Cheers ~
ReplyDeleteCheers to you and thanks. Have a good weekend. We all should have one.
