Murphy's Law

Murphy's law is what ever can go wrong will go wrong. My law is whatever can go wrong will go wrong and that's the best part of my day.

I live my life vicariously through me.

My knowledge of life is limited to things I don't know about.

  1. Being smart enough to know what you don't know is wisdom. Does that make sense John? The sun is about to come up and I'm about to go to sleep so I may be a bit scatter brained now.

Shut up Cat, don't even say it.

    2. That's true for me concentration is not something I focus on. Actually that's not a bad tweet. See what you inspired. I'm way behind emails and such. Back to answering all my thousands of emails.

    3. Anne 22 I'm trying to reply to your comment and it won't let me. Does it know something I don't. I'll try again later.

    4. See how he is John. He's so mean to me and I even made him Orlin the God, the Eternal King of Canada in my story. And how does he repay me?

    5. They don't come much worse than him. It's just a matter of spreading the word so others don't get duped. Next time I wouldn't even use any letters that are in his name in your story. Just put him out of your mind and try to relax.

    7. I like the hatred. It's much more full filling that depression.

    1. Yes, when things go smoothly in my life it's time to question what I'm doing. I may seem pessimistic at times but I find in comedy that's a positive trait.

    1. Yeah, who is Murphy anyway. But I do like the way he thinks. I'm assuming it's a guy but Murphy could be a woman, then I would like the way she thinks. A girl after my own heart problem or heart medication.

  4. Hey, at least you are always learning right? No boredom in your life.

    1. In LA boredom is considered an ambition. Back east you always seem to be in motion. I get bored too easily which makes relaxation a problem. I think I'm a tension junky. Not anger tension but the tension of thinking I should be doing something else more important.

  5. Boy, talk about rotten days. I love the Murphys law one. It's so funny because we immediately see ourselves.

    1. Of course we do. There's nothing wrong with seeing yourself in every situation, except in a mirror. Well, that's how I feel about me.

    1. I always think I'm in the wrong place thus it makes it hard for me to make reservations.

    1. You're right about. The key is defining a bad day. What's great song. Born Under a Bad Sign. "If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all."

  8. Never met a Murphy I didn't dislike.

I especially enjoy your line about living vicariously. I feel like I live vicariously through me (or Murphy) too.

    1. I know there's a way to make that line better, with a better set up but I haven't figured it out yet. But thanks from the inner me, the one that's always watching.

  9. Love your thoughts ~ When things go wrong, it can be funny or really sad ~ Wishing you a good weekend ~

  10. Thank you. Actually it can even be both funny and sad. In fact the worse things get the funnier comics get because we use humor to avoid the pain. You have a nice weekend also!
