He wrote for Rodney Dangerfield, Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Billy Crystal, and Joe Piscopo before joining the staffs of “Saturday Night Live,” “The Tonight Show,” “Politically Incorrect. He produced the HBO’s ACE Award winning “Joe Piscopo Special” and produced what critics said was the best special ever done about stand-up comedy, Comedy Club Super Stars, on ABC. John wrote and directed his first feature film, The Last Request, starring T.R. Knight, Danny Aiello, Frankie Vincent, Vinnie Pastore, Gilbert Gottfried, Mario Cantone, and Joe Piscopo. Now, a Huffington Post contributor, John considers himself very sexy for a writer; he wears no underwear under his underwear.
